In a non-professorial way, social media expert Kara Alaimo, PhD will explain how we can keep away from our phones while at camp. She’ll explain why a summer without smartphones is good for all of us: we can practice the art of being fully present in our surroundings, getting comfortable with our thoughts and even experience boredom. Nixing phones will also allow us to invest more in relationships with the humans around us.
